So pleased to have ran my 10K this morning, after a month of high milage I took a week if only 5Ks before my holiday week last week in which I only managed two 5Ks again, very hilly π
Ran on Tuesday day after I got home thinking I could run a 10Kπ€
How hard that was!!! Really struggled and was quite sad about it..
I only managed a really hard 5K
But today I got out with dedication, knowing I had to push through.. and what a difference I felt.. got that feeling of pure joy and gratitude back again and at points felt that buzz and love of Running again..
I'm so grateful for today's run and think I'm back on track π
Happy Running all πββοΈπββοΈπ

Ah well done Sparky! Iβve been in the exact same boat, plus had a very niggly hamstring which has demanded rest. Just been doing 5k here and there, so I know just how you feel π. But Iβm so pleased you really enjoyed it - Iβm hoping for the exact same result tomorrow! Weβll get there, eh?! πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
No parkrun report for you today but I have just received my parkrun report for my 21st official parkrun at Dunfermline parkrun this morning, after a PB time of 30.09 last Saturday at Drumpellier Parkrun, I got another PB for running at Dunfermline, more hilly course, my time today was 31.47 which I am very happy with, enjoy the rest of the day π ππΎ.
Thanks, one of the reasons that I am continuing with (not) parkruns although I am now running official Parkruns is that I never missed one week when there were no Saturday morning runs, last week there were over 1000 running (not) parkruns in the UK, many like me running official runs as well, so I don't see anything wrong in submitting my midweek run, whether a 5K or a split 5K time for a longer run as it was last Wednesday. π ππΎ
