Well, I really enjoyed that! I felt strong and alive, if only we could bottle it. The weather was perfect, a little bit of sun and nice and cool. I wore short sleeves and although I was a tad chilly during the warm up walk, long sleeves would have been a bit much. Mind you, as a 53 year old female, my thermostat isnβt what it was! Iβll just leave it at that π€£.
All showered and caffeined up now. Going to pop over to Hilliers to get some compost for some nice spring bulbs - I love how they just lie dormant for ages and then voila!
As ever, I hope everyone is having a smashing day whatever youβre up to πππ.

Ah thank you! The bulbs are planted - I now have very grubby fingernails π. I donβt have a garden, rather a nice balcony and itβs so nice seeing the flowers appearing in the spring. π·π·π·
Youβve done better than me, mine are still in bags, i do have a garden but most of it has scaffolding at the moment, iβm hoping it will be removed soon
Thank you Ian! Ha ha no I donβt think an all you can eat buffet goes hand in hand with a run, but what a great excuse to chill out combined with no sudden movements π. Itβs certainly the weather for it, here anyway π€£.
Feet and paws up respectively! Let the snoozing begin π.
You speak about running ten miles as if it's nothing! If I remember correctly we both started C25K more or less around the same period, did we not? Soon (for me mid November) there will be a runniversary! You have come so sooo far! Hope you don't mind me being a tad jealous π.
Today was a surprise to be honest, I hadnβt intended to go 10 miles, but I think it was one of those rare runs when everything feels right. They donβt happen too often! Youβre so near your first 10 miles, donβt forget how far youβve come Evy! I donβt think either of us expected to be still doing it a year later. Weβll need to treat ourselves to something nice next month ππββοΈ.
New running shoes! It's my birthday 9th of November and I asked for new running shoes. Mine are running to their end (they are 6 years old) so they can be a gift for my birthday AND runniversary!
And no, I really did not think I'd still be running almost a year latet. AND actually loving it!
Thank you! It was a lovely run, although a bit stiff this morning π. Yes, springtime is special isnβt it. Itβs been nearly a year now since I started C25K and therefore seeing all the seasons. Theyβre the last thing you think about at first, but I realise now what a difference it can make! π
