10 miles done!

Can’t quite believe it but I’ve done it! Am I eligible for a badge even though it wasn’t in a race? I couldn’t remember exactly how many kilometres 10 miles was so I ended up doing 16.3km to be on the safe side. Lovely sunny sun and was so early I got through central oxford with not a tourist in sight!! Bit on the windy side but was nice and cooling as it was a bit warm for me even at 8am. Week 8 of the half marathon training plan done, looking forward to my rest day tomorrow 😂

I do love it here (am from another city), sadly we will have to move further out eventually so that we can have pets and a garden! Trying to enjoy it while I can

I wasn’t originally from there I saw it for the first time when I was 19 and fell in love with it. I’ve moved away l four times and always regret it. I sold my lovely house with 90’ garden, just off the Iffley Road and 8 minutes walk from the Kidneys, Aston’s Eyot - to help my daughter and her family get a house. Miss it so much! Don’t move out of you can possibly avoid it - it’s so darned hard to go back . There is nowhere like it
