In elevation gain, that is. Distance is a little more than 1000km. Not sure which is freaking me more!
I have run just over 25km in 2021 - Fun Beyond 10K & ...
I have run just over 25km in 2021
Must be mega hilly where you are. Well done!
Thanks Shake-and-run , I live in the Auvergne. Our house is at 680m so it's pretty much impossible to run on the flat.
Well done to you Cmoi, the Auvergne is a beautiful part of France with many ex volcanic features, I have seen it on television when Le Tour de France passes through that part of France, it has also got some lovely folk songs including the famous Bailero by Joseph Canteloube.
I never watched cycling til forced to sit by having shin splint, so I tuned into Skyโs Tour de France. Itโs fab int it. A proper travelogue. You cycling wasnโt bad either ๐
Well done on your hilly record of achievement! ๐ช๐โ๐๐โโ๏ธ๐ช
Hills make us stronger runners ๐ช More patient too I guess ๐ค
Thatโs serious elevation! Well done!! ๐ Your quads must be massive ๐๐
Well done, Queen of the Mountains.
Awesome
Amazing achievement both in altitude and distance, but doesnโt it mean you have also run 25km downhill??? ๐
Thatโs amazing! Iโve just been cresting towards 20k and only because I am trying to focus on hills a lot this year. Yeah you must really be surrounded by them where you are! Well done ๐๐ผ
Wow! Just wow!!!!! ๐ฅฐ
I remain in awe of your achievements! Do you remember the AAA scheme we had to do at school? This would have earned you one helluva lot of points.
I used to reckon on about 10K of elevation over the summer in Cordes. Believe it or not I'm kinda missing the hills, Cambridge is flat as a pancake!
Wow! That sounds likeโฆa lot!โฐ๐
That's great, although I'd never think of it in those terms ๐ค ๐๐ป๐คฃ
Wow! That's a lot of running uphill!
Makes my total climb of 7k pale into insignificance!
