Today was actually a good run. Exactly 8k at 8mins /k. I was pleased as I should have done it yesterday but fell at the first post. Not literally I'm glad to say, but I ran for about 1minute and realized I really did not want to do it...so turned back.. Very unusual for me but I'd had 2 hard days extracting honey from my hives and believe me, it is hot heavy work. Anyway at the end of it I had 7x30lb tubs of honey and another of cleaning up. I think I must have been exhausted and needed a day off. Today felt excellent even tho I had 2 rain showers early on and then the skies opened and it tipped down. That made interesting running, especially as I was trying to video the path turned to river in front of me..... Needless to say I stayed cool... not the glamorous cool! I'm working towards a hm at my own pace but it might be a tad too long for this old, bedraggled π!

What a difference a day makes! You've already done 10 miles ... HM is definitely not going to be too long!

Sounds like a good decision to follow your instinct. Running in the rain is so refreshing this time of year too.I love the reason for being tired so much more interesting than my tired days! Honey..mmmmm.
