Accidentally joined a local marathon 😁

Just thought I'd share for a bit of merriment. I am training for a HM in October so need to get out for my runs.

There are notices all round our village for the local marathon...I thought this was yesterday.

Thoroughly enjoying my run I thought I would add an extra 1k and all of a sudden spotted an awful lot of runners...yep the marathon was today...my run coincided with the front runners.

I am still in the early days...a bit of a plodder...these guys were flying....my last k was my fastest so must have spurred me on

it was also nice to get a cheer and a few claps on arriving in my village at the 6k point 🙃🙃

In future I will check the date 😁

Now you see where I get myself into alsorts of bother...MH is definitely code for HM...yes definitely need to tack on around 15k at the beginning...my amusement gives me confidence.

I am sure there will be more incidents along the way and on the day..😁😁
