Well after a tough half marathon on Wednesday in very warm weather and a tad disappointment that I hadn’t improved my time, this was followed up with a 6mile walk with my daughter first time since Christmas Eve on Thursday in cold weather, today bought sunshine with a slightly cooler temperature - but I now had to do a 10k!
I set off thinking just enjoy the 🏃🏻♀️ you are not under any pressure but the 1st k came in at 6.53 and I was well pleased 😀 with that and feeling good running on familiar paths.
No issues with stiff hips, and breathing well, all that yoga 🧘♀️ practice everyday since January for strength and flexibility I felt was paying off.
As the k’s were getting ticked off along the canal and into the cool shade of the woods I soon found myself on the road to home 🏡 and felt all had gone well.
A lovely greeting from Mr B as I arrived home told me I had a PR for 10k 😀life is good - running as free as the wind, nothing better.
Miles for LEJOG04 saw me just cross the Moray Firth and moving along a road in the middle of Russia for COGH!
Happy Running and Happy Easter everyone 🏃🏻♀️👍
