Sports bra + frozen shoulder = tricky manoeuvre

Help! One for the ladies....

I have a frozen shoulder which makes getting in and out of a pull-on sports bra a challenge. I have been scouring the internet for a padded, front fastening, racer back, non-wired bra that comes in A-cup size. It seems this is not a widely available combination.

Any ladies out there found one that meets these criteria?

I know all too well how hard it is to get out of a pull on sports bra LL, especially if a bit sweaty. 😩

I have no idea whether they make A cups, but I have a couple of M&S zip fronted racer backs which are great. You have to be 100% sure the zip bit is flipped down to avoid sudden “release” (!), other than that they’re awesome and very comfy and supportive. 😀

M&S start at a B but I was thinking of ordering to try anyway. Maybe stuff a pair of running socks down the front!

I had a shock absorber front zip one but can't use it as there is so much extra fabric behind the zip it gets way too sweaty and literally creates its own river.

How about a crop variety but instead of putting it over your head pull it up over your hips and then slip the bad arm through it first?

Good idea, I'll try that with my current ones.

Ooh, I have no info to help I'm afraid ... but do want to commiserate! I can't imagine how difficult a sports bra must be with a frozen shoulder. Owwwwww! Hope you find something, and that it heals as soon as possible.

I'm resigned to it being many months before it resolves itself. Just hope I can keep running!

Sadly these things are never speedy enough are they. Good luck.

If you can find a standard back fastening bra, maybe with 2 sets of hooks, you can put it on using the following method. Turn the bra upside down and inside out, then put it on back to front so you fasten the hooks in the middle of your chest making sure all of the bra is below your boobs. I know this sounds daft. Slowly rotate the bra round your torso using your good arm until the hooks are in the centre of your back, then flip it up and pull up the straps and it will magically be in the right place.

I have a limited range of movement behind my back in one arm following a rotator cuff injury. To this day that’s the only way I can put any bra on without assistance. I can successfully get into shock absorber multi-active bras that have 2 sets of fastenings on the back this way. And I am a H cup.
