Finally getting back on track...

Well it's been a rough few months (or year I might add)... and I have completely let my running and fitness slip and have gone nearly 3 months without going for a single run or bike ride. But following a bit of a bad meltdown on Sunday, my parents and few others encouraged me to go and get out for a run. So Monday morning comes round and I'm really suprised that I was actually back outside in the dark and rain, running! And this morning I did the same thing and I do wonder why on earth I stopped for so long, I felt much better after my two runs! I've decided to go through C25K again to build back up and hopefully that will get me through lockdown by the time I'm finished! Here's to Friday's run! πŸ˜€

Hi RC, lovely to hear from you. I’m so sorry you’ve had a rough time recently, but how great that you found joy in running again now! It’s a great idea to go back through C25K. The structure will keep you going back and you’ll soon be fighting fit again! πŸ˜€

Go you! πŸ‘Š

We have all missed your reports of your running RC41, I just hope that all is well, that is a very sensible decision on rerunning C25K after that break and you enjoyed your run today.

We've been waiting here for you - and are very happy to see you again! re-running C25k is a great idea - lots of structure, no choices or decisions to make, no massive expectations. Run to enjoy again and here's to a much brighter 2021 regardless of how it might have started. Happy running RC.

Hi RC, sorry to hear it's been so difficult lately. Redoing the c25k is a great idea. I completed it for the second time last spring after a 2 year break and it really brought back the joy of running - such a tonic for the mind 😊
