Adidas virtual 5k

Hi! Never thought I would like these runs so much! It was on my Runtastic app so I thought I would do it. After months of running 5k almost every day, at last I had a chance to run at (my) race speed and was very happy with 31 mins. My virtual run here was a slow day, I think. Something like 34 mins. and I didn't want to put it up. Next weekend, La Mercè (Barcelona) virtual 10k so will try to do my best and beat 1 hour 5 mins. Then, on November 1st I' m going for the New York Virtual half marathon in my village. The cool medal and Tshirt will spur me on as I will receive them when I finish. It will be a new experience for me being the only participant in a half marathon... at least physically. Does anyone else fancy signing up for it? I would love to have a virtual companion to train with!! Photo is where I end up every morning after my run.

Brilliant, well done! What a fantastic place to run!!! I have to do my virtual HM by 30th October so don't think I will be up to another one on 1st November - but I will certainly be up to cheering you on at the side of the route! Good luck with the 10k next weekend.

I love this and your times all sound so good too. The virtual HM sounds really exciting and one you will be ready for. I'm sure lots of people would love to join you in this challenge too. Keep running and enjoying it and you'll get there. Running alone will be ok and at the end the satisfaction will be such a great feeling 😊
