Anyone doing a long run this weekend?
Early...before 6?
Not sure if it would be wise to have a long run this weekend as the temperature is to be around 90F/32C except in parts of Scotland or Ireland, wait until it gets a bit cooler.
I think it depends on the heat. I was planning one for Sunday as it's usually my longer run day. It says 21°c here so that's pretty good. If it's 30+ I'd think about it. I fainted today on a run but think it was because I'd stopped suddenly to chat rather than the heat so go steady.
Doing a long ish trail run. Will be more run/walking as there's a bit of exploration too and hopefully plenty of shade on the route we've picked
Will be covered in sunblock, taking lots to drink and setting off early. Still looking forward to it though, if it ends up too hot it will just be a nice walk.
It’s not forecast hot in the north east thank god🤷🏽♀️ can’t stand hot weather in the UK: it’s too humid.
I think early is good😀 I didn’t make it up early enough this morning myself, but will try again tomorrow (which may be slightly cooler anyway by the forecast!)
I went out on Saturday morning for a 16 km I took a drink but forgot my snacks. It was hot 🥵but I nearly didn’t make it as I’d run out of gas 😤.
Schoolgirl error 🤨
