This week’s long run - DONE!

Sticking with my training plan, it told me it was the day for 7 miles so I dutifully plotted a 7 mile route to where we left the car last night after getting a cab home. T’other half dropped off me off in the middle of nowhere so I had no choice but to dig in and set off! Paced well at 9/9.15 per mile for all but the last mile which was basically uphill. But I made it!

2 weeks from now it will be London Winter Run done

6 weeks from now I HOPE it will be Cambridge Half done.....

Looks like a goody! Fab stuff, especially on the last hill 💪🏃‍♀️ You’ll be in great shape come the races.

Brilliant. Especially well done for getting up that hill after a night out 😍

I was wondering the wisdom of the "car collection" plan at various points, especially that very very slow long last mile.....

I was especially pleased as once I had recovered and got in the car, was driving back down the hill to see a much younger chap than me struggling running up the hill too!!!! Not just these old legs finding it hard..... share the pain!
