First run of the week completed, ran a nice little 4K! And I think I've really got into a rhythm in terms of my pacing now, ran an easy pace all the way. And my splits are quite consistent, give or take hahaha! πŸ˜€

Good morning RC41, nice run for you today, you look so happy in that photograph, actually you look happy in all the photographs you take of yourself.

Sunday is usually as you know my cycling day but its raining β˜” so I'll wait until it goes off, enjoy the rest of the day 😊 πŸƒπŸΎ 🚲

Thanks, yes I always feel much better after a run! Hope the rain goes off soon and you can enjoy your bike ride! πŸ˜€

I hope so, it isn't very pleasant cycling in the rain, I have been caught in the rain hundreds of times, including a few thunderstorms but I have never actually started a bike ride when it was raining.

Yeah I definitely prefer running in the rain than cycling! πŸ˜€

I eventually did get a short bike ride when the rain went off and before it came on again.

Excellent. My pace is all over the place more often than not. To be fair though, lots of external factors affect it too - wind direction, elevation, crossing roads, social distancing.... I can always find an excuse or two πŸ˜€. What annoys me more is that I'm not good at knowing whether I'm going faster or slower than I intended, that's still very much a work in progress for me πŸ™„

Oh same, I just set off at an easy pace and just run off feel. It is hard to tell though :-)

Not wanting to hijack your thread but had to show you a recent split I had. I hadn't looked at my watch for the run, I just ran. I was amazed to see the results.

1km - 5:34

2km - 5:05

3km - 5:05

4km - 5:04

5km - 5:04

Madness.
