Galloped off the Focus Rails.

I was focused on garden and SSC.

Along came the launch of a Past and Present closed group of my birth village.

Being contributing with names to faces.Did my neck and shoulder in with one finger txtg and not taking breaks looking down all the time etc.

Crazy and stupid, not due to heavy gardening graft. Not helped by dickie C1 and C2’s but has been a very painful few days.Try to get seen to get the right recovery exercises , no chance.

Hey ho self medicate and middle on.

More positively got a canter today.

Next week a gallop for the final week of the speed challenge.Crack on with the garden also.

For September going to keep focused and stay on the rails.

Going to do 12x200m sprints spread over 6 days.

So morning and evening each day and one day off until the end of September until I return to C25k and the rest.

Atb with your plans.

So frustrating. I'm sure you're still annoyed with yourself. Fingers crossed (not your bad ones) it won't affect you too much

Hi Tbae, not too sure about all those technical details regarding 12x200 sprints, after your heavy gardening graft would it not be wiser to do C25K again first before all those sprints, I would not like you to get injured again.

As for me, I have now ran at Dunfermline 4 parkruns in Pittencrieff Park, my times are pretty even, in order of runs:-34.16, 34.17, 32.19 and yesterday 33.31, I like going there, also, I am beginning to get to know people, especially the runners who run around that same time, give a minute or two more or less of my times.

Regards

Alan. 😊 πŸ‘

Well done Alan with your consistent times and good to make friends.

I have been building up slowly during the 4 week speed challenge and doing the 200m in around the 30 seconds.

Should have said that is exactly what is required for the Get fur medical research programme.

Actually 4x 30 second sprints x 3 days a week or 12 a week.

I am spreading the 12 over 6 days just to fit better with my graft in the garden before my commencement of C25k and endurance build up.

It’s really working on a different set of muscles and tissues. The fast twitch stuff.

Still just messing around Alan.I certainly can always back off.

Thanks Alan

Texting indeed! You don't have time for that!! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜‰

Past and present stuff must be nice for memories.

Happy sprinting! You'll get that record yet! 😁

Your right Jo, I don’t.

So proud of you and your second marathon.🌟

Can’t believe the gaps Jo, not due to memory, just never linked it or associated in the first instance anyway.Things I did not know about my close family, untimely passings, people’s outstanding achievements and challenges.

Younger people with a connection wanting information about their beloved ones Jo.

WOW it’s ironic Jo SM has played its part in the breakdown of communities but has the power of redress.

Going for it over the next 5 weeks.

You take good care of you.β€οΈπŸ‘ŠπŸ’₯πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸŒŸπŸ‘πŸ‘
