Why is the Forum such a Motivator.

For me at present committed to my friend the garden it gives me plenty thinking time.

Not going to get heavy,🙈just speculating that for me C25k/HealthUnlocked forum affords me the facility of a new canvas, perhaps like a garden and other things do.

For those that have experienced job and family changes at retirement and other circumstances there is a vacuum to be filled.I guess I was somewhat slow to react and struggled with self esteem issues in this vacuum.

The Magic Forum has given me this blank canvas to create whatever I wish and express myself as in a garden.

For me I will count my blessings always in finding this forum and helping me give myself the gift of running.

Got Abi’s SSC for 4 weeks,then good night garden on the 30th September, hello C25k number 3, and on and on to a once in a lifetime marathon hopefully this time next year.

I’m Sure you will do it. My left knee is a mangled mess of scar tissue with a lot of internal damage, so probably won’t do a full marathon, but who knows! Two years ago I didn’t think it would manage a minute of running!

Adapting as life changes is a skill we all need to embrace. I try to change with what life throws at me but must be honest... I don't like it as much as I'd like to! 🤣

The forum is a low pressure way to engage when and how we can with other like-minded folk. It also teaches us when its best to not engage at times 👍🏻🤣
