Self isolation running

I’m lucky to have Madingley Hall on my doorstep. It’s been my local training ground, and a perfect mix of trail, road and elevation. The next few months looks pretty grim for all of us, so we need to make the most of what we’ve got, while we can.

Absolutely 😃. I am just off. Short run today. I ran yesters and saw only dog walkers. I’m dog walking tomorrow and Friday.

We’ve got to keep fit 💪🙂👍🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

You are right MadDave - Making the most of what we have and being thankful for the things that we have seem to make a lot of sense right now.

Fab place and elevation in Cambridgeshire (!?)- almost unheard of (I'm a Cambridge girl of origin). I might give it a whirl next time I'm at my brother's in Cambourne. It's good to have a happy place to run in when times are tough -enjoy!

It’s not a lot of elevation but it’s not flat, and mostly trail, which I prefer. There’s a hillier option I did this morning with about 500ft elevation over 45mins this morning. Please do come and enjoy this lovely village if you can - and keep on running! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️

Oohh I think you might be right there.....I’m very emotional about parkrun, don’t know why? 🤷‍♀️.....it’s just great, safe, lovely place to be, normal really is going down the swanny if we can’t parkrun....😥, but just think what the party will be like when it’s back.....
