The photos were taken at the end of my run today - and sadly don't really show just how wet 💦 and squelchy it was in places! My lovely Hoka trail shoes were, as usual, fab and handled it all with ease (unlike my good self!😉) Nor does that lovely gently rolling hill in the distance in the bottom picture, show just how hard it was to actually run up!😱 It feels like it goes on forever - and I ran it twice! Hope everyone else is enjoying their first runs of 2020! 🙂

Poor shoes! I have just bought my first pair of trail shoes. My road shoes are in almost pristine condition, not sure how I feel about getting the trail shoes muddy!

Happy to get mine muddy - I know many just tap off mud and leave to dry but I clean them with a Boot buddy and then stuff with newspaper. They always come up really well!🙂

Oohh you’d better not look at mine then....😱😂......I never clean them - apart from a bash together to get the worst lumps off......Trail shoes are born for mud! ......running medals they are!

I must admit, I do love a shiny new pair of shoes.........but then .......I can’t wait to get them mucky and used!😄🏃‍♀️

I’m the same I’m afraid as use them every day even if it’s just walking the hounds in the woods. I can tell they’ve split now if I clean them as they leak. 😂

Yep.....😂 I had to eventually bin my last pair as they got holes in the uppers.....my socks were just getting that little bit too much wet and muddy.........🤦‍♀️........

Lovely! I’ve got ‘new’ shoes like that, been out 3 times so far and they’re trashed! (In a good way) 💪🏃‍♀️😂👍, even my new roadies have been christened with a muddy puddle!......

I’ve just ordered a pair of these in the January sale. I love my Ons but they wear out so fast, plus I’m hoping the cushioning will help my dodgy knee. I’m interested to hear how much you love them! X
