Race Recommendations

I'm looking for a race or two end of March or April. My google search is not coming up with anything inspiring, so I thought I'd see if anyone here has some suggestions?

I'm looking for a trail 10k or half marathon, the more hills the better. I do want something where the route is very obvious though, as most of the more interesting runs I'm finding seem to require some kind of navigation skills - who knows where I'd end up!!

I'm in the Midlands, so ideally not too far to drive, but to be honest I'd rather drive further and do a really interesting looking race than stay close and not be inspired by what I find.

Really appreciate any ideas :)

Ooh, definitely not a question for me - I seek out flat! I'm sure someone will be along with some recommendations soon though.

I don't know of any personally, but this site has some rugged events 😊

Also, FetchEveryone has a good race search, although you will have to sign up for an account with them to use it (I think):

Have a look at ‘it’s grim up north’ running. They give each run a ‘grim’ rating 🤣

This is a good events resource. Also good for checking out exotic early season warm destinations like Spain etc.
