1st Race - did it! 11k '10k'

Well the rain stopped just before the start! So I was a bit warm in my long sleeved top but it worked out fine. Enjoyed my 1st race, ran with someone for the first few km.

Managed to improve my pace and my 10k time on my phone - both me and the other lady measured it at 11k... I was managing to speed up, thinking I had 1k to go but then had a whole extra km... thought I wasn't going to be able to keep going but I did, maybe that was the race magic. Really appreciated some families with kids cheering me on near the end!
