Roseberry Hardmoors half marathon. 17 miles. Tees Link. Roseberry Topping twice. Captain Cook’s Monument. 1000m (over 3000ft) ascent. Oh and lots of mud with gale force winds. Brutal. Loved it.

Brutal sums it up Tasha99. Awful day, awesome result!! Congratulations on surviving. I looked up the route... couldn’t believe Roseberry x2 . Much respect 👏👏👏👏👏👏🥂🏆🥇
Quite a bit. Managed to avoid falling into mud but fell twice going down Roseberry Topping - the local mountain and one of the highest points on the North York moors 🤣
So glad that you enjoyed your run today, one of the best runs you have ran for some time, it does look a little muddy, especially in that second photo, in the third photo you look so happy, well done 😀 🏃🏾
Cor blimey Tasha! That sounds horrendous - especially on a day like today! At first I thought that was an amazing happy smile, but on second thoughts I suspect it's hysteria! Huge congratulations, that's a massive achievement 👍💪👏👏👏
Oh my word Tasha - “Hardmoors” how aptly named!! Good for you, I’m super impressed. 😄😄 ( I have plodded & staggered up R Topping many times & couldn’t possibly run up it, even snail fashion!)
He he he. There was a full marathon option of 31 miles 🤣 There’s a whole series of them. The ultimate runs up here. They do ultras too up to 200 miles. Hardmoors 👍🏽
They're a tough lot in Yorkshire. I used to live in Great Ayton and have walked up Roseberry Topping many times. Running? Well thats another matter entirely. Very well done!
