Decker has got another lovely, long run in....and accompanied his post with a beautiful photograph of his Fire Maple. I love the photographs he sends us.
That's all we have in common right now..I couldn't even get 1K in this morning, waking late, having slept badly; this does not bode well for the longer runs that I am trying, without success to accomplish!
So..not a Canadian Maple here, but an Acer Palmatum, just about to head back to Winter sleep....I am just hoping the fire glowing in their leaves, will spread into my running legs.
Onwards and upward..π

That is a beautiful tree Floss. And you are one up on me since mine was not a pic of my tree at all - it was just a tree I pass on my route We have a bendy Blue Spruce in front that the Blue Jays seem to like lately.
You will get out for the runs I am sure. Just take it at your own pace and enjoy your run whatever the distance.
Thanks Ali... I will be zipping along again I am sure.. did you see my pikkie of a yellow striped snail on Strava.. I thought of you and my lovely little snail that you sent me when I photographed her
OF: me, too--too many things going on today including taking my son back to college after an at-home weekend.... So now here's a serious question: I alternate running with walking 2 miles every other day. I ran yesterday but didn't walk today--so do I run tomorrow anyway? I suppose???
It was good. I generally don't enjoy the run while running, but it makes me feel so good afterward (e.g., less pains in joints) that I always try to get my runs in. "A bad run is better than no run at all."
