Going well, started off thinking of running around 7/8 K... After running an 11, ....5 ...and 6K last week.
Went out a bit later than my usual 7:30am with a base layer which I had to strip off around 4K.. the weather was noticeably warmer Today.
The lake I loop is roughly one and a half K perfect for the 5K runs as it takes a K there and back..so if I loop it twice that's 5K .. so I estimated if I loop twice more I will finish with a nice 8K distance..
I've noticed my posture is much better lately..no more running with my head down.. really helps with the breathing π
But nearing my 7th K I was enjoying my run too much and didn't really want to end it there.. so carried on around twice more and finished at a good 10K with a personal best to boot ππββοΈπ
Really pleased with this for the first run of the week , and after my streching and shower ive noticed my legs seem good, no aches... π
shall do a short run mid week..and fingers crossed try 12K at the weekend πββοΈπ€
