Just got back from the Stratford 10k it took longer to get off the Car Park then to do the run, almost Here's a photo of me with the Bling. Lovely Weather not to warm a lot of runners to avoid as i try to stay upright whilst kicking myself in the ankles Nice course out into the countryside and then back past the racecourse and the RSC, a quick shout out to Willie the Shake for the support, and back over the river. Got a bit to enthusiastic towards the end and when i got to the grass finish area nearly fell over got my feet together just in time. Delighted with run my fastest 10k 64 mins.
Hope everybody else's runs went as well as mine and you all had a fantastic day and are looking forward to the next one.
Have a great week everyone.

Thank you very much. It's almost as big as the Compton Verney one. Much more of this and i will need to go to the gym to build my muscles just to carry the bling.
Aw thanks, but we're all just putting one foot in front of the other. We're only limited by our own minds. I never seriously thought I'd get this far. No one knows what tomorrow holds! 👍🏻😉
Thank you. I'm from the Foxus Hipicus Branch of the family we drink only PG Tips( except for me i drink only coffee) and listen to Gong and Steve Hillage tracks whilst running hence the sort of spaced out knitted together it's all karma man look.
Hey Mr Fox! It was a brilliant run wasn’t it? And that bling is humongous. I need to reinforce my little medal hanger now! Congratulations on your time. I’m definitely doing it again next year, it was really good fun, loved the mix of surfaces, and the views of the Cotswolds when we got to the top of the hill 😍👏👏👏🏅
Yes as you go out of the Rec for the first 5K there's a couple of steady climbs not like the Compton Verney Mountains but enough to get the pulse rate up then it's downhill and flat back into Stratford, it's a nice mix. I would recommend it to anyone who can make it it's a lovely atmosphere and great bling.
Well there may be a tiny bit of poetic licence in the word Mountains. LOL.
I'm sure some of our fellow lovely runners would consider these mere molehills and they couldn't have been to bad as i have already entered again for next June!!! The first one is when you have just started come out of the park onto the road and winds itself up nice and steadily the second one is more "Interesting" it comes at 11 Miles and is about half to three quarters of a mile climb it starts ok then half way up it gets steeper. On the plus side there's a water station at the top and it's downhill all the way back to the park and the finish. I'm sure you will love it it's a lovely run.
Oh we’d like to do the Alcester 10k but we’re at Lyme Park Parkrun the day before so we’re opting out. Maybe the Green Leek Run the week after. Have fun in Alcester!
Yes it was a lovely run i will enter again next year and Compton Verney another Tempo event. Weather was great lovely atmosphere just a lovely happy day.
