Week 3 of my return and zero km’s.

Wishing I had just taken a slower route/programme back.Think I have knocked myself up with some of the garden sessions in the last week.

Not able to walk let alone trot.

Will see if I can lodge a self referral request tomorrow and join the physio queue.

On a wider issue I really feel for folks who need medical attention and during these tough times cannot be seen.

Set me unkindly thinking, you do your best to keep active and when you need medical support it is not readily available.

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️⭐️⭐️👏👏💪💪🙏🙏

So sorry about your injury Tbae, it's that darned hedge again, it's a problem getting medical treatment at the moment as you say, I hope you recover soon and will be able to trot again.

Yes these are hard times, however, I am fine Tbae, still running, yesterday I ran my 14th Virtual (not) parkrun, last Monday I walked along the prom at Helensburgh, the place I ran my graduation run 2 years ago, keep safe.

Oh I'm really sorry Tbae, I gathered that you had 'done something', and it seems to be more than a twinge.🙄

So frustrating, and not being able to move freely really knocks your mood.

Is it your whole leg? Is it comfortable to put it up?

I can imagine you looking out of the window longingly and a bit of you also wanting to finish off those garden chores.

Rest up, and I hope you can get some treatment/help soon so you know how to move forward...as you say more of a problem in current times.

Hug and healing vibes. (((💓)))Be patient, get well soon.😚🌻xxx

Hi Jan, it does knock your mood.

Always laugh Jan,they do not tell you when you are pensioned off, it comes with all these hidden clauses and ailments. How long have you got.😱😁.

It’s just a dull niggly pain in my left hip and left calf.Probably been around for 2-3 weeks.I thought it was just getting restarted again and something that would settle down.Got other stuff that you accumulate and just ignore. The high I get from trotting just makes all that baggage disappear at least until bedtime anyway.

Probably just need a bit of professional reassurance. It is responding to a rest.Horrible as you know when getting back on your feet and wondering what reaction you are going to get from the floor.I have been standing and twisting on many hedge stumps in my On cloud running shoes,I think that was just stupid.Point loading on my feet.

So pleased for you and I thought of your effort in the above quote. You are amazing.

Sorry to hear this tbae. I hope you get seen soon and your complete recovery is swift. I know what you mean about difficulties getting access to health services in these times. I care for my mum 4 days a week and it is so difficult to get an appointment if she needs one. Even harder to get her in front of a doctor. Take care.

Gosh what a star you are Brian.🙈

That is the reality Brian.

It’s 4 years to the day since my own Mum passed on my Wife’s birthday.Wish I could have done so much more for her but my younger brother lived with her and we were a big distance away.

Thought your running pics on the track were impressive.

🏃‍♂️👍😂👏💪🙏💥

Aww thanks GTFC.

I am so delighted with your marathon achievement and your pace. That’s very fine.

No physio appointments available, submitted a self referral today, don’t give it much hope in normal times and now with us being back at level 4 no chance.

I will try and strengthen my muscles with walking and hopefully ease the joint pain.

Perhaps repeat the first 4 weeks of C25k as soon as things a bit more comfortable.Been trying to minimise medication.

Trying to get Mrs Tbae underway with a new hip.A situation that’s overdue.

Enough strife from me.

Like that re comeback.👍💥

Atb to you, take care of your talent.
