It was a lot warmer than predicted but I got round OK. Official time was 1:08:58 so I’m happy with that.

The support round the course was fantastic and everyone was so supportive. Thanks everyone who came out to support all 23.5 thousand of us!

[Sigered Half Marathon]

I ran today too. It was great event but as you said the baggage drop was a bit of a mess. The London crowd are always great, very encouraging and worth an extra couple of minutes off your time.

Well done Sigered, I’m glad it wasn’t just me who was put off by the baggage drop. The rest was great though and it can’t be easy to organise over 23,000 people!😳🙂👍

Well done sigred. Everyone seems to think the bag drop didn’t work well. In Bristol they had buses with shelves inside and it worked great, but probably half the runners there.

Good! Love a bit of bling meself. At my last race there was no medal but we got a slate coaster. Not the same though

Thanks Dexy5, I’d recommend doing it. Hopefully they’ll sort out the baggage drop-off properly by next year.🤣 The finisher’s tee shirt is very distinctive. Sadly they didn’t have any medium ones left by the time I finished, but I was happy to settle for a large size 🙂👍

Congratulations, sounds like a great event too. I had heard there were issues with bag drop and running out of medals/goody bags and t shirts. Hopefully these will be sorted next year.

Thanks, there were no problems with medals or goody bags when I finished, but no medium t shirts. I gladly settled for a large one though! 🙂👍
