Cracked ten mile training coming on nicely
Well done on the 10 miles! Not far now π. I have done a few HM races now and would say just keep it steady, stay hydrated and have some fuel. I like to take some carbs after about 7k, and then more regularly after that - e.g. at each water station but if you have got to 10miles keep doing what you have been and donβt use anything new on race day. On race day, start relaxed and take things easy for the first mile or so, and settle in to a comfortable pace. Soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the event! It looks great π. You will be fine if you have already reached 10miles. Good luck π
Congratulations! I think if youβve done 10 miles then you should be fine for your HM. I think Macmac covered all the bases. I would only say to maybe bring one more gel than you think you might need if you have space for it. Oh and maybe take a look at your course elevation regarding hills, and if there are many, then perhaps train a bit more on hills while you can.
That is Brillant Agelesslass.π
Great advice from the experienced two and others on here.ππ
Have not done Chester, but reasonably local and I hear them say it is a lovely one to begin with.
Very popular.ππ
Reasonably flat and I think just a very gentle climb at the beginning going out.π€
Have a good one, with every good wish.

Awesome.
Macmac has pretty much nailed the advice. Enjoy your HM. ππππ
You'll be fine, Just keep doing what you're doing and enjoy it! ππ
yayyyy.
excellent!! sorry no tips as I'm no where near going that far yet, 10 mile is my next goal
Enjoy it!
Great run. You're almost there. The crowds and general race magic will carry you through the extra few miles on the day. You're well on track
