London Landmarks half marathon

Ran this yesterday! Wow one of the best experiences of my life . And to think when I started couch to 5k last autumn I could barely run. Raised nearly £2K for Mind and feel so happy. Can’t move today though !!! Thanks for all the tips on here, it’s been an amazing support 😊

Congratulations! fabulous photo. That's such a short time to get to HM, well done. Your fundraising total for Mind is amazing. I thought the people on their cheer station were superb - I gave them all a clap and a cheer as I went by and just hope that didn't seem patronising! It was a great event wasn't it

Yes their cheer station was amazing - I'm sure they loved that you gave them a clap and a cheer too! It was SUCH a great event, I absolutely loved the whole thing (well apart from Mile 8!!)

Haha 😀 I walked a few metres round that last u turn gave myself a good talking to .. then managed to put my foot down for the last mile. Boy was I glad to reach the finish line 😀
