Each time I achieve something new, I award myself and add onto my thing, which is basketball gear. Light, breathable, comfortable. And colourful. Don’t forget colourful.

This time it’s Boston Celtic’s Larry Bird, one and only. The Bird. The Legend (forgive me Charlie Parker, but I can’t run in your type of suit).

Heavens only know what I will buy if I ever run the full marathon. The whole team, perhaps…

Oh, and if you see a guy running in a London park, don’t stop him and ask for a selfie, thinking it’s me. I am seeing more of us wearing those jerseys, it’s becoming a ‘thing’. We are taking over!
