Thought Iβd pop a post on here as it was a bit of a milestone today - got up to HM distance! πππ
Been ramping things up since Xmas and today managed 22km π³π and now all set for my first HM race in three weeksβ time. Still canβt quite believe it, after stepping on the treadmill for the first time in April last year, on the basis Iβd βgive running a tryβ.
Usual beneficial side-effects of course - weight loss, reduced waistline, more energy, feeling healthier generally from getting out in the fresh air, etc... plus have really got into the whole βentering racesβ thing... plus all the support from the wider community thatβs available on here and elsewhere.
