HM training run

That’s my last long run before the big one next weekend. Pace is looking like 2hrs20mins but hopefully I’ll be a bit quicker on the day, as today’s run was partly cross country and hilly in bits and the Cambridge HM will be on the flat. Also looking forward to water stations, as I got badly dehydrated today 🥵

That's a great starting pace, and with all the adrenaline and support on the day I'm sure you will be faster still. Good luck! We'll be cheering you on 😀

With a good rest this week, and the adreniline of the day you may find 'that bit extra'.

Yes, the adrenalin will kick in and you will get sucked along to a faster time but don't go nuts MadDave. Use all the water stations. You don't lose much time walking through them for 20m or so so you can drink properly.

Thanks for the water stations advice Lordi- I was in two minds about running through them or slowing down enough to properly rehydrate - good to hear from a fellow C25k who has been through the same process! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️
