Haha. I did think 'oh, should look at the map and see when the wind will be against us' ... but decided there is prepared and prepared, and that would have been in the 'over prepared' category!

Weather is mega unpredictable, might turn out to be the odd shower which will be nice and refreshing

That would indeed be nice! There's a high chance I will be going on my own; I hate running in a coat so I was thinking I might have to try rocking the bin bag look for all the hanging around before the start if it's planning on raining all morning. I also noticed the bag drop is due to open before sunrise !!!!! I need to do more running and less thinking

They look quite low percentages so you may get away with it. What you need is it dry when you are hanging around at the start and s light shower when you're getting overheated. I always watch the weather like a hawk building up to a race.

Did GSR a couple of years ago and was great but freezing cold waiting at start.

Glad I'm not the only weather watcher It's the waiting around that bothers me - I'm happy enough running in the rain I think

Yes, I like running in the rain - as long as it starts after I've gone out. Never want to step out into it!!
