New Sturdy capris on @sturdybydesign, new Achilles support on, and feeling like its my first day back at school. Planning 1/2 mile walk, 1/2 mile slow and steady run and repeat, and we’ll see how I go. Will be good to at least be trying something! Two weeks tomorrow is first 10k race.....😬🏃🏼‍♀️💪🏻

Aaaaaaand how did it feel? (Aside from being a sartorial triumph of course, that's a given!) 😊

Well, thank you Sqkr! I think the jury is still out on the achilles. Managed a flat 1k at my normal pace, but it was uncomfortable- I’m not sure how much to load it. I can walk ok so it might be the slowest 10k and HM ever!

That sounds like good progress at least, though it must be frustrating! I always tell myself the finish line is the same distance away no matter how fast I go. 😊

Wise words indeed! Am going to give it another try out tomorrow and see if my new purchase of an “ Athlete’s trigger point massage stick” 😳 can work magic!!!
