β UPDATE: Added a few missing names! Apologies, Sutsha π
β UPDATE 2: So far I've counted a total of 2,745 miles, which is about 40% of the Moon's circumference. One last big push then!! π
β UPDATE 3: 3,353 miles and counting!! That's almost halfway, folks π
β UPDATE 4: We're now up to 3,457 miles, which is almost 51% of the way round!!!
β UPDATE 5: Now at 59% of the way round - although I must add this is not including any of this week's data, and I reckon we must be way over 60% by now!!!
I am not going to be able to hit target... Managed 32 miles but I have sprained my ankle tripping over a root, so been on the since last week. Doing a short run (3km) tomorrow now the swelling has gone down, then a longer run tomorrow (5km) before the race on Saturday.
Only a minor sprain... Stupid balance problems mean I am more likely to go over badly as when I try to correct a trip, I over correct and go both ways instead. Have been given balance exercises to help but its caused by hearing loss. Ah well... Could be worse
48 miles this month so far. strava hasn't clocked it all on the group on there i didn't think. It will be more than 50 miles as you've extended the date.
I am behind but will hopefully catch up today. 21 km behind π€¨I was away for the weekend, and had planned to run, but the weather was yuk That doesnβt bother me but my husband Was in tow π€¨
You can take my stats from the Strava group, they are perfectly accurate and include all my runs indoors and out ππππ didn't have a target this month, sorry π³will do better next time
Got a 5k and a 10k in over the weekend so hit my target. Should be good for another 120k this month as I'm running a half and pacing a friend round the last 15 miles of their ultra!!
hit 187 miles (~300km!!!) since the 31st of July today, so I am very close to my target. And actually I thought the challenge finished on the 31st of August, so I might get a few extra miles until the second
all good here on the moon (still no cheese though, which is good for me given my lactose intolerance, but all those stories about the fact that the moon is made by cheese must be invented then... so funny to read though...)
last week was tapering (and race - 10K) week. I managed 33.7 mi. My goal was 190 miles (300 k) or above for the 5 weeks and I managed the following
27/08/2018 β 02/09/2018:33.7 mi 4:07:55 7:21 / mi
20/08/2018 β 26/08/2018:41.3 mi 5:20:59 7:47 / mi
13/08/2018 β 19/08/2018:40.3 mi 5:06:23 7:37 / mi
06/08/2018 β 12/08/2018:41.2 mi 5:24:45 7:54 / mi
30/07/2018 β 05/08/2018:44.5 mi 5:37:17 7:35 / mi
Result a total of: 201 miles - 323.5 Km
I almost managed the 40' in the 10K yesterday (40'16''). I know I have it in me, but I need to get more train for running in pain (last 3 k). Report to follow as soon as I have some time
Now it's 3 weeks to the Belfast city HM (23rd of September)!!!
At the moment just really tired! I hope to recover well. I missed the 40 by 16 seconds, but I guess I gave everything... I need to find the time to rite a Race report. In the meantime, did we pass mid point around the moon?
My overall total is 66km, which is measly compared to some of you chaps! To be honest though I'm actually surprised I managed that many kms with the persistently quirky calf of doom, so I'm quietly pleased with myself.
Endomondo has just told me I ran 107 miles in August. There's about 3 miles a week Endomondo doesn't see, And so far since the end of August (IE on Sunday) I've run a further 9.5 miles. So I'm on something like 131 miles
Please can you add another 64 kms to my 146 km original target (which I've reached last week ish) My grand total then is 210 k as at today. Ta ever so Roseabi, you number cruncher you x
quick update from my running last week (first taper week for the HM I will run on Sunday the 22nd
Last week (my first week of taper) I ran 29.3 miles, bringing my total to 280.5 miles (451.5 Km) since we started.
this week I am in North Carolina (the storm Florence is passed and I am in a safe enough area ... I am getting 3,or 4 miles a day with mainly pace race type of running. Hopefully it will work
