I don't know about you, but every time I see one of those silly run-prefixed words like 'rungry' or 'runniversary' I automatically think of Rooby Roo π
π₯ LAST WEEK'S results from Strava and posts on here show that we are currently just under 59% of the way round the Moon!
Update me here, or over at post HQ, with your latest!!
marco83 's tapering for his next race now, but he's gonna be hard to beat with his current score of 251.2 miles (or 404 Km)!!! Well done Marco π

Thanks roseabi , the mileage did take some toll. this week I could not finish my interval training. as you mentioned, I am going to take it easy for the rest of September (aiming to lower mileage (probably between 120 and 150) then October will be faster, so shorter distances...
But it looks like by then we will be around the moon already
marco83 has run a big chunk of the moon solo! π I'm really impressed at how much distance we've actually covered. Not so much me, admittedly, but I did do a wee bit of it! And still some more to come...
Definitely looking forward to the next challenge too, it's been ages since I did a short, speedy run. I hope I've still got it in me πΆ
NB, I just edited this to clarify that the 59% is only up to the end of last week (plus a couple of non-Strava results) - so we must be well over 60% by now!!!
Unfortunately, I had to take a break from running, so my projected miles didn't materialise. But I have been back the last couple of weeks to put in a little shift. Amazed by those of you doing the big mileage though.
I'm hobbling about on marathon legs atm so will only be able to add maybe 5k Fri/Sat! I can at least now sit on the bog without having to lower myself down using the washbasin and towel rail as as elbow supports! I did jog (staggerette) for about 200m today just to see if I could - hurt a lot but not life threatening! I'll be taking the moonbuggy for a few days!
Iβm up to a total of 218km since the start - so about half of Marcoβs amazing contribution π. Once my taper is out the way this week Iβm looking forward to building the mileage back up again.. Iβll have to have a think about the speed challenge as thatβs kind of an ongoing thing for me since I started parkrun π
No more running from me until the marathon next week Sunday... Physios orders thanks to strained calfs...
But October is looking promising with lots of 10km races to get the speed going for a sub 60 and one HM on the west coast Also entered another Triathlon as my triathlon became a dualathlon thanks to 11 degree water and 5 degree air temp...
I canβt help it, this really made me chuckle, I love Scooby doo, I have some βrunderwearβ .......now when I wear them I think of this post, think Iβm going to have to call them βscoobyβsβ from now on....π.....and itβs in scoobyβs voice in my head........rooby roo! ππ
