Sorry I couldn't tag you all, HU only lets you do so many!
If you are training for an event then this may be a great way to help keep you focussed on getting the miles in!! If you aren't then its a great way to get out there and run a bit more!!!
At the end I will tot up all of our miles to see how far we would have ran round the moon, so lets aim high!!!
The Strava group does not have the capability to show total runs for this challenge - it only has weekly totals. You should be able to see your results for this week and last week though?
In the Strava group, scroll down a bit and you'll see 'This Week's Leaderboard' with a list of people's total km for this week so far. You can switch between this week and last week by clicking on the buttons to the right of the heading.
But not to worry, you can as you say just tell us about your Moon runs and we'll tot them up ourselves
Weird!. I know thatβs what Iβve done. Apart from a 4K yesterday (that moment you realise you didnβt press start on stravaπ³) but still canβt see last weeks but Iβm glad you can see it at least!.
A long run tomorrow then Iβm away. Iβll be back and will let you know what I did... I canβt scrimp on runs as GNR is getting too close now, just got my run number today!.
I've one session a week that doesn't get tracked, the less encumbered I am when that woman tries to kill me the better! So I'm 3 or 4 miles down on logged mileage.
I don't think so, because I only joined the group on Monday and I can see my last week's results.
I think maybe you are looking on a mobile device - on the app probably? I can only see this week's data on the app - there is much more to see on the website...
Youβre right, itβs the Strava app on my iPhone. Android tend to be more comprehensive for this kind of thing, for some reason the Apple versions strangle some apps.
Oh, ok. Some Apple apps donβt do as good a job as 5heir android equivalent - or maybe things have changed. I was an android user for 4 years and the Apple equivalents were pants quite often.
Itβs useful, because when people you get to know stop posting on the health unlocked forums they are usually still on Strava, so you donβt lose your friends.
Not surprising really π¬. I am blaming the hot dry weather, baking everything underfoot. My stony trail is bad enough in the wet but at the moment itβs like running on, well π€·ββοΈ moon rock Ouch ouch ouch. Even with my crash pad shoes on
surely not? I did 373.9 divided by 10,921,000 = 0.003%. I lifted the miles from your strava write up. I think there is an extra comma!!! In which case if it is 10,921 miles divided by 373.9 that equals 0.3%. However I have just googled and its not 10,921 miles its actually 6786 miles.... so that is 5.5% YAY go us!!!!
And if we are 5.5% through after one week, it should take us another 94.5/5.5 = 17.2 weeks to finish, so somewhere in early/mid-December. Unless we get more to join the gang of course π
I will add my miles to help out at the end but it's not going to be a good month and a bit embarrassingly low. Still might just get us back to the lunar module and home again.
I confess, the first I knew of this was when Lordi added me to the group on Strava - thanks Lordi I'd have totally missed out otherwise! I've a habit of missing the start of things and then don't join because I think I'm too late. π I haven't pledged a distance therefore, and you can add my mileage from Strava to the list ju-ju- . I did 9.8 miles last week and 7.2 miles so far this week. Sorry it's all in miles...I feel like I'm cheating if it's in Km because the numbers get too high too quickly. Loving the moon quest idea. π
Hi Ju-ju, I wasn't planning to join as distance will be embarrassingly low, but your point about keeping focused for an event is a good one! I'm not Strava-ing at the mo, so count me in. I've done 19k this week so as Wobble says, every little helps!
I'm on track so far ... 20 miles so far, and 10k tomorrow I hope. Have joined Strava now too so I can manually add my runs to the Challenge. I'm sticking with Endomondo for logging my activities for now - though it does look as if Strava has quite a lot more to offer at 1st glimpse!
Iβve got 23.6k in the bank so far, with a 7k planned for tomorrow. In my defence, mileage is low due to starting another hm plan. Will increase before the month is out though!
I would love to join, but don't see me doing more than 60k - hope that is enough? Every little helps I guess Week before last was 11k and the one just finished 14k
