I’m still going but at ground zero still as not used to doing them. I’m loving my garden gym- thing and I love the looks I get from the chickens and bunnies ! So I’m doing 30 in 3 lots of 10 second stints with 30 second rests. Still working on form ( cough).
As I have said here and elsewhere numerous times, there is no form. As long as your chest is on the floor at the bottom and your feet are off the floor at the top, it is fine. Can be as ugly as you want between those two points.
Well I am still going but it's mixed, mostly after a run I've added 5 burpees and 5 squats x3 to my post run exercises. So not every day but definitely more than the none I was doing. Definitely a bit smoother and quicker than when I started. Do have a question - chest is on the floor at the bottom but it goes knees, pelvis then chest, and reverse on the way up. Should it be straight down onto the chest? I will up the numbers honest.
Just seen the reply to juju so presume that's okay.
I have been trying but am still crap. When I did them badly I seemed to do them better. Flailing around in the front room with Jillian Michaels that is
I was at the gym today, and at the end was doing holding planks. The guy told me to remember to breathe. I said It's either one or the other, I can't do both! Wheeze
I am still working away doing 50 burpees in 7 minutes - 7 sets of 30 seconds with 7 burpees in each set (apart from one set of 8), with 35 seconds between sets. It's doable although hard work. Soon I will change the timing to sets of 10 burpees in 50 seconds...
Well done Rignold, and everyone else doing the challenge - it's definitely a long term one!
Speaking of squats, I am having trouble there too. Last week my knee was caving. This week doing single leg squats threw up an issue of imbalance, so that’s good in a way, as it’s something go work on. I still feel a bit mangled today and couldn’t sleep last night Every bit of my body felt jittery 😬
