This is my second load.I had trimmed all the way round for the first load. This 2nd load is 25% of hard hand lopping and substantial hedge reduction of height and width.I started this exercise as part of Floss’s Blooming June Quest on the 10/06/20.So a month on and I am hoping to finish the remaining 75% and 3 more loads like this by the end of August.Hopefully more of the hedge will accommodate machine cuts.By the way some of the monster hedges in the pic are not mine.
I am hoping to have 4 months remaining of 2020 to complete C2FM.

My goodness me Tbae, that is some load of garden refuge and hedge cutting, you have been very busy indeed. you can't run and do all that gardening as well. Take it easy if you can, it does look an awful lot of hard work.
That was probably the one that I reported running my 17th virtual parkrun which coincided on the same day as my first year since running my first parkrun at Dunfermline, I have also ran 17 official parkruns, 13 of which were ran at Dunfermline, the other 4 being near Coatbridge at Drumpellier Parkrun where I got my two best times of 30.55 and 30.56 for a 5K, the 30.56 time was ran in a temperature of -6C/21F on Saturday 30th November, St Andrew's Day.
Came down in favour of retaining the 80 year old hedge.Neighbours are not what they used to be.Don’t cut the hedge so would not take care of a fence neither.🙈😂
To pull these 80 year old hedges out with a JCB would basically leave me with a start again job/ wreck the garden.Would have to clear the site, ( including 18 trees),erect 200m of fence inside or on top of the Welsh dry stone wall, and then landscape again.
Not going to happen IP, I’ll leave that decision for the next owner.🙈🤣🤣👍
Aww thanks Sandra.I like to clean up as I go.As an apprentice in industry it was drummed into you to maintain a clean and safe area.Aluminium Smelting could be a hazardous business.
