2nd 10 of the week

Completed my second 10 mile run of the week yesterday. It was just one of those sessions where I wanted to carry on longer than planned and being that I had the time I did so.

Beautiful day, and although I was tired by the end it has been the highlight of the week thus far. Nice to have a clearish sky and some warmth from the seldom visiting sun up here in darkest Cumbria... rest day today and short recovery run planned for tomorrow. Onwards and upwards :)🏃🏼🏃🏼

So far so good, much easier recovery week next week and then begin getting ready for a 15k charity run

Gary you’re scaring me! Two 16 km runs in a week!

There is such a thing as over-running.

As a new runner your running legs aren’t built yet. Caution!

Have you got a structured race plan?

Advice heeded :) recovery week all next week with lots of rest factored in.

You take care now! The last thing you need is to hurt yourself from being gung-ho and having to repent at leisure

I have an 18k on my myasics plan today but have to go to my sons to wait in for a furniture delivery. I can see me doing this at midnight 🤨🙄. You never know, they might be early. What’s the chances 😁

Which hills can I see in the distance there?

As I live in West Cumbria that would be the northern aspect of the fells near Ennerdale, so I think Crag fell is most prominent outlining the valley . Panning right from there is Flat fell and Dent

I didn't ever get to go to that part of Cumbria (I used to go up there on the bus from Preston years ago), looks so beautiful though! I'm just looking through someone's blog of a walk up Crag Fell, and planning a visit to the Lake District in my head :)
