I was planning to get out almost first thing but poor Google had another 'attack' - not had one in weeks. Not as bad as they were - she wasn't shaking for hours afterwards but she went back to bed instead of out for a pee and breakfast and I gave her a painkiller. Seems OK now, was up and about policing the cats and shouting about the Ocado delivery but I think it will be a walk today... and will try to get in a sneaky run tomorrow before all the slugabeds are up. We're not hosting lunch so it is a bit easier to do that.
A Happy Birthday to your Christmas Baby and well done you making it special - I sometimes wonder if more babies are born on Christmas Eve or Day than usual. At my son's concert yesterday, two of the other 6th Formers had birthdays today.
Sorry to hear the dog is not well! I hope things settle down
I managed to get yesterday's missed run done today. Just got back home in fact, had a lovely Epsom Salts bath and am chilling til I have to get the tea on.
I am not running tomorrow. Hoping to have an easy Christmas Day as I'm not cooking. After that it's all change and I have family staying til new year. Gulp I think it will be knackering so getting out to run will be my salvation. I have nothing organised thankfully so I can run as and when I please
I did parkrun today with Curlygurly2 , on my HM plan, felt a bit guilty at 'only' doing 5k today, but, might sneak in another on Boxing Day to up the distance - however, did 'bank' 4K on my long run last week, so we'll see how the legs feel......
Long run Wednesday, then parkrun New Year's Eve (in disguise😉) and parkrun New Year's Day.....
Happy running all

Not doing too well. Hopefully will get out Boxing day and then later in the week, Volunteering at Parkrun New Year's Eve and am entered for a 10k in Hyde Park New Year's day morning - provided I can get there on Southern rail!
I haven't had much time for running lately, only managing 1 run a week in December. I went out for an 8k run this evening while the rest of the family had Christmas porridge, which I never join in anyway. It was great to get out! Hopefully I'll be back to my regular schedule this week.
I managed 5k on Christmas Day, which was lovely. I am glad I did because otherwise I wouldn't have left the house at all. And yesterday I did 18k which I was very pleased about as that is the longest I have done for a while, and it was my aim to do it before the end of the year! It was a beautiful run, frosty and bright along the canal with steam gently rising off the water backlit by the sun. Lots of birds - robins and cormorants, ducks and swans, wagtails and geese.
No races planned as yet, although I am looking for a spring half marathon....
