Hi youngcnv With inflammation being the root cause of so many health issues, I find this an interesting post and wonder why I've never connected inflammation with my own myopic cnv condition. Keeping the body in an alkaline state helps drastically improve inflammatory problems - e.g. avoiding sugars, and being carb-free.

I'm going to find out what research is available and help bring it to the table.

I just visited with a uveitis doctor. She recommended Humira to potentially lower inflammation that may be causing so many bleeds. Just wondering if anyone has heard about this treatment method.

I have wondered about this as oestrogen is an anti inflammatory and peri menopause and menopause when oestrogen declines is often the times when women outnumber men 5:1 or something with incidences of myopic cnv. Do you have any interesting papers/research? Very interesting. I always wonder why there isn’t more research into the significant differences in the gender inequity of occurrences of myopic cnv too.
