Ive recently developed a central retinal vein occlusion in my right eye and also been told I have Drusen in both eyes. I believe this has to be reported to the DVLA. Vision in my right eye with glasses si 6/7.5 so not bad. My husband is arguing that no one has told me to report this so I don't need to (he's being very shirty about it!). I think he's wrong and it has to be reported and also car insurance company informed. Anyone got a definitive answer to this? What happens if I don't report it?

I find the DVLA website a bit vague, as it is clear the list of notifiable conditions is not exhaustive, while you must report the listed conditions it seems you are also expected to report anything that has a similar effect
gov.uk/driving-medical-cond...
There’s also the question of whether the CRVO has affected your visual field enough to matter
I doubt the druse would be an issue
When I first reported eyesight deterioration to DVLA I was sent back for an accurate visual field test and allowed to drive for another 6 years.
There’s also the question of checking your insurance conditions, both driving and travel
I think you need to consult an optometrist and the Macular Society Helpline can probably help
Good luck!
