Crvo with macular oedema

Hi I have crvo with macular oedema and have had 2 bouts of laser eye treatment and 3 injections of lucentis,,I am seeing my consultant next week but just wondered if anyone else has this, what is the outcome if any and how are they getting on now..

I don’t know what crvo is but I have macular odema I receive eylea injections for it

Ok thanks for the reply, crvo is central retinal vein occlusion, not good and with the macular oedema on top of it even worse. .

I seem to have same problem. I had 5 Lucentis injections but after the 5th the problem became worse. Then I had 2 implants. I also had two sessions of laser treatment. I’m now having Eyelea injections every 8 weeks and there has been a great improvement. I still have a lot of distortion due to the damage to the retina. ATM I am very happy.

I don’t know the name of the implant just that it was a steroid. They did help but caused pressure to become very high.

I was told by two consultants that they were not available to our hospital any more.

The good news is that the Eyelea works better and the pressure has come down.
