Hi everyone, many thanks for all your helpful replies and good wishes, they are greatly appreciated. I was able to see my consultant today and he confirmed that I had a bleed in both eyes. I’ve had injections today and am hopeful my sight will improve. The time between injections has now been reduced to eight weeks from twelve which, hopefully, will prevent a repeat of the awful experience of the past week. Once again thank you, take care and bye for now.

That's great news Fattypatty, I' m so glad you've seen the consultant and have had your injections. Let's hope in future they leave it no longer than eight weeks. All the best to you. Let us know how you get on.
Good morning, so glad you have had the injections which should clear up the leaks. 8 weekly interval sounds better for you. Best wishes.x
Delighted for you fatty patty. I have a scan done at the opticians between injections. Costs £20 but worth it to keep an eye on things and reduce anxiety. All the best.
