I was appalled when I read about this. A blind ex A&E doctor had put a camera on his guide dog to record how he is regularly abused by commuters on the underground This video shows how the commuter wanted the guide dog to move out of this way so he could get down the escalator. I feel people like him should be prosecuted.

Sad reflection of our times. I recall how manic the tube can be especially if you're trying to get to Paddington on time to get a train home after a long days work - no excuse for rudeness though. How anyone blind manages to cope with the crush is beyond me. Well done the chap and his dog for remaining calm, and well done to the transport staff and other commuters!
