Brilliant is it about capacity?

Hi Tallyho,

it's about everything that leads to sight loss when prompt treatment could so easily save our sight. Over capacity is part of that but there are many other factors too such as the postcode lottery and restrictions placed on access to sight saving drug treatment.

Did you know the "Dream Team" are back in action and heading back to London in a couple of weeks' time? Since handing in the petition we now have a meeting planned with the Minister for Health to discuss preventable sight loss; let's hope we can persuade him to make some changes x

Hi thanks I spoke in Parliament in November on behalf of the RNIB on capacity so was just checking it was on the same topic. I am speaking in parliament at a round table discussion next month too about DMO and will bring up this topic again then.

That's amazing; I spoke at the APPG on eye health in November too. I went on the second of the two dates the RNIB offered. Did we meet?

Hi Jjnan,

going to Number 10 was fantastic and thrilling to know that the petition spoke for more than 11,000 of us. Did you know we have an appointment booked to speak to the Minister for Health about preventable sight loss in a couple of weeks' time with the Macular Society? x
