I had an infusion yesterday (first one) and have developed a red face and chest, non itchy, looks like sunburn. Is this a recognised after effect of treatment?

I had 3 huge infusions of prednisolone last year (3 grammes over 3 days) and although the most important side effect, for me, was how stupid they made me, I have a distinct memory of having a fat red face for quite a long time.

Hi - I had 2 infusions over two days back in October. I remember my face being more flushed than usual for a day or two, although overall since I've been on oral pred (a month or two before that) my face/chest have been red (also not itchy, just looking a bit like sunburn). The infusion did work really well, although only for a couple of weeks at best! I find injections last longer even though they are lower doses! Hope yours all goes well!
