Horrible last 2 Days.

I cant describe what the last 2 days have been like, as most would have gathered by now, I try and stay as positive as humanly possible, but the last 2 days have been hell, pain, depression of extreme magnitudes, migraines off the scale and not one tablet seemed to work. Trying to pull myself back up, hope todays quote will help lift some, as I am trying to lift myself. Hope all are relatively ok.........

Hey there Peter,

I don't want to even pretend that I know what your going through, but as a fairly positive person myself I know it must be horrible when you find yourself feeling crap and all negative!

Please try and lift your mood (easy for me to say I know!) But I'm quite down myself after my sisters death which I find hard to deal with. I find doing things I enjoy or spending time with the people I love, helps me. Arrange something to look forward to. Talk to friends and family and the doctor if it helps.

Lastly try and keep smiling, don't let stupid lupus win!x

Peter sorry to hear that you are not having a great time of it ...... I was troubled with migraine type headaches due to brain involvement, I was prescribed sanimigran and although it takes a bit of time to get into your system, they have certainly helped ease the pain that I was once in on a daily basis .... the pain was so bad for me that I would actually bang my head off the wall so that the resounding would be greater than the pain :/ I also use a TENs type of machine and I attach the pads to the temples and this helps relieve it too. When you are in pain it is so easy for the depression to take hold, so I pray that you will find something to relieve the pain and soon. God Bless

Hello Peter. I too am sorry to hear you're suffering at the moment. I don't think any of us can say pick yourself up because we all suffer at different times with different symptoms, but we definitely do know what having Lupus can do to your body and soul! I use a tens machine aswell as many pain meds and find it does help sometimes. You can get them through most Chemists now at quite reasonable prices, I've just bought a small one that can be carried around discreetly when out and about for only 7 pounds, that was a bargain at the Lloyds Pharmacy! Lloyds are also online if that helps. Thinking of you. xx
