Hi guys.....

Well I have been a proper Muppet over the past few weeks... Had a mini music festival last weekend at work and worked some stupid shifts and moved house this weekend.... That and having to come off Hydro due to breathing difficulties. Still waiting for an appointment with my consultant for alternative meds... Could cry with the pain that keeps waving over me.... Feeling exhausted.... Am taking that many ibuprofen, co codamol and diazepam...just to control some of the pain..... Hope everyone is ok xxx Sending hugs and love to you all x

Been there done that -- when will we learn eh?!! Hang in there, you are doing you're best to deal with life - sometimes you can't put life on hold. but for now, you know it's best to rest, so give yourself a couple of days if possible xx

I am so sorry you are in so much pain and exhaustion. I call this payback - i've dared to have a bit of fun and now it's payback time. The thing is, for me, i look at it and think well I've had times like this, flare ups, when I haven't done anything, at least this time i have had some fun. Accepting that payback is part of my lupus life somehow makes it easier for me to cope, in a weird way it makes it less significant. Reduces it's importance - ok i know you are there lurking in the background well i'm ready for you so there! - i hope this makes sense i'm very foggy today!! try to rest if you can and i hope you will soon be feeling better and that you get your drugs sorted out sooner rather than later.
