i get a feeling under my bottom lip ! it feels like its vibrating ? a sort of feeling as if its gone to sleep ! a fizzy sort of feeling !

Really hard to explain !!!!! anyone else have a clue what i'm talking about !!!!!!?????

sorry no i haven t had any problems with lips but i do suffer wierd tingling in my cheeks sometimes, but i don t worry about it, all i can suggest is you keep a diary like i have and see if there is a pattern and tell rheumy when you see them.

Hi there, Yea I know what your talking about, But I fell the vibrating felling in diffrent part of my body, legs, arms even my butt cheeks, but it happens when Im jusy about to fall asleep. And only last a few seconds I dont know what it is??? But if any one know, Let us know. Thanks

hi there, yes I get this quite a lot, but only started in my lips after the kidney transplant as is due to the tracrelimous drugs I am on. Before that and even noe I get it travelling from my feet to my groin, usually if my body is under stress or I am over tired. It feels like I am being eaten by ants. my lupie friends and I call it the creepy crawlies.... LOL it can be a little disconserting but other than that you do get used to it.

Yeah I get the creepy crawlies! Lips and cheeks have been known to do it... usually though it feels like I have ants in my hair and makes me want to scream and start hitting my head - whole scalp starts vibrating. Usually for me that's a sign my alopecia is about to kick in.
