Red painful patch on my legs

Good morning all, I have had Lupus (SLE) for many years, on hydroxychloroquine, the last 6 months I am getting a painful red patch on the lower part of the back of my legs. Skin tight, red, very hot and painful. Looks like mild Cellulitis. Anyone else experienced this and if so have you had any treatment or advice how to avoid recurring issues? Thank you.

Hi Jenfry34, I have not had this problem myself, other than for a short period of time due to eczema or insect bite. Have you seen your GP? It could be due to a number of issues, so best get a satisfactory answer and treatment from your doc. good luck!
